Come and be seduced by this mime, come and see him perform in the glass box, drink from the imaginary cup and be pulled by the invisible rope.
He’s just like all the others, led by the same set of strict rules a mime must follow in order to be. But perhaps, hidden away in there, is a person underneath the face paint waiting to escape that ‘glass box’ he is trapped inside.
Can the rules of being a mime really be so black and white?

Paul is the Co-founder and Producer of Shoot Festival, Coventry’s brand new platform for emerging live performance.
Paul is Associate Artist at Birmingham Repertory Theatre and an Associate with Theatre Absolute. His solo performances include So Far West, One Thing On His Mime and most recently Nothing! He has toured these performances nationally and internationally over the past three years. Paul’s performance work has an interest in the role ‘performance’ plays, both upon the stage and socially.
His solo work blurs the boundaries between these two kinds of ‘performance’ in a comedic yet poignant way.
