SHOOT  FESTIVAL 2019 | ARTISTS

Shoot Festival 2019 introduced our Visual Arts Programme. We also presented our usual Performance Programme and created a hub of musical creativity in the Bull Yard for our Sound Stage.

With a heady fusion of folk, classical and Bollywood dance, The Colours of India depicts major festivals celebrated across India.

LAUREN SHEERMAN

Lauren Sheerman explores a woman's struggle to find a sense of place and belonging in an evolving urban setting.

LANAIRE ADEREMI

This is an interactive piece with each poem laced with sounds from instruments, voices, applause and shouts, and invites the audience to take part and express themselves in these moments.

GERTRUDE

Lisa Franklin and Lou Sarabadzic collectively known as Gertrude, are theatre makers, poets, live artists and total social media addicts.

Nina is an impressive multi-tasker. 
Chloe can’t wait to get back to work. Zara has never really had much purpose and Tegan goes with the flow.

Using poetry and hazy memories, Never Mind the Horlicks – Tales of Punk Rock & 2-Tone is the reflection of an older, but not entirely wiser man, looking back at what it felt like to be growing up in the Midlands in the 1970s.
