Shoot Festival

A diverse new festival which platforms the best of Coventry and Warwickshire's up and coming talent

SHOOT FESTIVAL returns 4 – 7 April! This is our fourth Festival, and we  promised that 2019 was going to be our biggest and best yet and we're on track to deliver just that.

This year, we'll be showcasing more artists, taking over new venues and we're very proud to launch IN BLOOM - our newest addition to the Festival programme.

IN BLOOM is a series of new commissions from previous Shoot Festival artists and will showcase some of the best emerging talent blooming in Coventry and Warwickshire.

The result is a triple bill of trailblazing theatre makers at the Belgrade Theatre for Performance: In Bloom and Sound: In Bloom a night of original music by three of the city's most exciting new bands at The Tin.

IN BLOOM is just one of the programme strands to be presented during the four days of SHOOT FESTIVAL. A complete diary of events and activities will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Tickets £10.50, £8.50 concessions*

Three compelling stories, each with a distinct and powerful narrative. Featuring Nick Knibb's Never Mind the Horlicks – Tales of Punk Rock & 2-Tone, using hazy memories, poetry and narrative, Nick looks back at what it felt like to be growing up in the Midlands in the 1970s. Sebastian H-W's Rebels Atlas charts the impact of urban regeneration on local residents through a multimedia documentary performance. And Susie Sillett's Cheetah Sisters invites us to consider the intricacies of inter-racial adoption and the ups and downs of sisterhood.

Shoot Festival in association with the Belgrade Theatre is proud to present these newly commissioned pieces from CV based artists who have taken part in Shoot Festival in previous years.

*online price. A booking fee will be added for bookings in person at Belgrade Box Office
