FUTURETHEATRE
futuretheatre is a collective working in a supportive practice, created for the sole purpose of aiding the development of existing and emerging Black, Asian (BAME) and diverse voices. At the heart of futuretheatre is a genuine love and passion for new and untold stories.
Through developing and supporting emerging writers and directors, they seek to continuously broaden their knowledge and improve their practice
futuretheatre lead by actor & emerging producer Toyin Omari-Kinch and director & applied theatre practitioner Jouvan Fucinni, was created in 2011.
In 2012, futuretheatre was awarded an Arts Council England grant to deliver it’s maiden development project, EMPTY, co-produced with the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.
