ABOUT THE ARTIST
Described as ‘the love child of Laura Marling and Alanis Morissette’, Izzie creates strong and uplifting songs that capture the spirit of what it means to be a young woman in today’s world. Her music is rooted in Folk, but also combines elements of blues, rock, jazz and funk, which creates a dynamic and exciting performance.
In just seven years Izzie has performed headline shows all over the UK and supported artists such as: Fairport Convention, Olly Murs and John Grant. She has performed at venues including: Coventry Cathedral, Resorts World Arena and The Belgrade Theatre, as well as performances across the mainstream festival circuit.
After five record releases and several singles Izzie has not only received a great deal of support from her local BBC Introducing, but has also been played on BBC Radio 6 as part of a festival music show. Her latest venture was a crowdfunding campaign where she managed to raise enough money to record her debut album, which is set to be released in 2023.
