Those Fine Strangers is a seven piece ska band from Coventry, the home of UK ska. They blend a mix of ska, rock, punk and two tone influences to create a unique sound and energy-packed shows.
Songs range from the fast-paced political “Fight Fight Fight” to the hauntingly catchy “Bad Boys” and fan favourites “Fairytales” and “Make Some Noise” mixed in with a few ska covers and classics; you can’t help but dance.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Those Fine Strangers have recorded two EPs of original songs, the latest produced by Grammy award-winning Roger Lomas who worked with several of the original two tone bands including The Specials.
The current line-up was formed in late 2019, with the expansion of the horn section to create a powerful sound. They played several gigs and festivals in summer 2021 and had a support slot for Bad Manners.
Those Fine Strangers have been working on new material and are looking forward to performing their new tracks live for the first time at Shoot Festival.
